Description
 The Melhana Plantation is a deluxe hotel located 35 miles from Tallahassee Airport, in Thomasville Airport. This rural Georgia plantation, comprised of over 30 buildings set on 50 serene acres, offers unique accommodation, among moss laden oaks and century-old magnolias. This is the only plantation in Georgia receiving overnight visitors. Easily accessible via Federal Highways 19, 84 and 319, this hotel is convenient to Florida panhandle and the Gulf of Mexico is within an hour's drive. The Melhana offers ample comforts, activities and facilities, despite its 19th century origin. A wine reception is held for guest every evening, and the estates magnificent dining rooms offer a refined, gourmet Southern cuisine with an ever-changing menu. The recreation facilities include a clay tennis court, crochet equipment and a modern fitness facility, complete with personal trainer. Guests can also enjoy a massage by licensed massage therapists. An indoor pool is housed in a separate, vintage building.
